What we test
Semi-cured gel strips, nail wraps, press-on nails, gel polish, and nail-care products — the things people actually use at home.
Our process
- We get the products independently. We source what we test ourselves, so no brand can buy a better verdict.
- We apply and wear them — for real. Our testers apply each set the way you would and wear it through everyday life for a full wear cycle, not a staged photo.
- We judge what matters. Application ease, sizing and fit, wear time and durability, finish, removal — and, crucially, whether it damaged the natural nail.
- We run a safety check. We look at ingredients (HEMA, TPO, and other common allergens) and how safely each product removes.
- We cross-check with research. We weigh our hands-on results against real user experiences and the available data, so a fluke never becomes a verdict.
- The editor signs off. Founder & Editor Abubakr oversees every test and edits each review for consistency and honesty — including the parts that say “don’t buy this.”
- We keep it current. Formulas and products change; we re-test and update when they do.
Our independence
